Homecoming days 2013 is scheduled for August 1 - 4, 2013 on the square in Celina, TN. This event includes craft and art booths, food booths and live music each night. There will be a cakewalk on Thursday afternoon, a Marble Contest, Cow Patty contest on Friday and a Duck Race, Car Show, Antique Tractor Show on Saturday. There will also be many other activities during those days such as Hillbilly Lawn Mower Parade, Children's Possum Eating Contest, Quilt Show, Civil War Encampment, Museum Auction, Health Fair, Corn Hole Contest, Children's Peddle Pull, and a Rolley Hole Marble Tournament. Come and enjoy all of these events in a laid back atmosphere in Celina which is in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains and is the gateway to Dale Hollow Lake which is known for its world record smallmouth bass and is one of the best lakes for fishing, boating, water sports, camping and fun.
The opening Ceremony for this event is held at the Clay County Museum at 805 Brown St. on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2 PM when they have the ringing of the bells.
