Big crowds for Small Business Saturday and Christmas Parade
Downtown Celina was full of shoppers for Small Business Saturday recently. Merchants had a lot of traffic and a big congratulations is in order for all concerned. It was great to see so many folks out visiting our local businesses.
Sunday’s annual Christmas was also a big success, with many floats, fire engines and horse riders participating. Spectators lined East Lake Avenue and the square area to see the many entries go by. Another hats-off to all concerned. Mrs. Wilma Nevans served as the Grand Marshall for the event.
We understand Mistletoe Market was also a big success, and we offer a third hats-off to everyone connected with that.
Don’t forget the annual Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday, December 9. There will be a matinee performance on Sunday if ticket demand dictates it. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
